Mtshwayeli hunting camp
Matupula Hunters (Pvt.) Ltd entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU with Tsholotsho Rural District Council which granted the company exclusive rights to operate Mtshwayeli Hunting Camp within the Tsholotsho North Concession area of Tsholotsho District (referred to as the safari concession area). The concession area is in communal lands and stretches from Ngamo to Korodziba bordering with Hwange National Parks to the west.
The hunting camp was issued with an EIA certificate by EMA in June 2015 and is fully operational.
The camp accommodates hunting clients for Tsholotsho North Concession, professional hunters and staff working at the camp. The company has built a hunting camp that meets the standards expected by the international hunting clients. The structures at the camp will include:-
- The main building complex comprising the lounge, dining and bar;
- 4 chalets one of which is an and
- A Professional Hunter’s tent
